Each dive specialty chosen during the advanced open water course will earn you credit for the first dive of your corresponding PADI Specialty.
The advanced open water course is a two days course with a total of five dives as five individual PADI specialties. Out of five specialties, two are mandatory and cannot be changed: Underwater Navigator and Deep Diver.
The other three specialties are free to be chosen by you according to your preferences and interests. However, it is important to note, during the AOW course, you will be certified as Advanced Open Water Diver and not for the specialties.

The PADI Advanced Open Water course takes a total of two days to complete
It takes a standard two days to complete the PADI Advanced Open Water course with a total of five days.
The days are planned depending the specialties chosen as well as the general personal timing of the student.
The open water dives depend on the specialties chosen for the course
Because the PADI Advanced Open Water course is structured as five different dives with five different specialties, the dive locations can be different depending
on these specialty choices.
As an example, drift dives can only be done in Nusa Penida, wreck dives only in Tulamben, night dives generally only in Padang Bai.

Nusa Penida is the highlight of scuba diving in Bali and it’s also the most special for its logistics and reach.
Famous for spotting the Manta Rays, Nusa Penida is a good choice for the PADI Advanced Open Water course if the student is choosing the Drift Diver specialty.
There is an extra charge for this choice but it all depends on the general logistics. Contact us for more information.
Yes, dive insurance is included
During the entire course we are covering each and every student with specially designed dive insurance
which is including also decompression chamber
among general potential accidents.
Combined with the dive insurance, we also provide general health insurance during the hotel and dive location car transfers as well as boat insurance.
