What Will You
Learn ?

The course begins with a theory session during which we will go through the reasons why a deep dive would be done. Most importantly, we will be explaining and understanding your personal limits and how nitrogen narcosis affects our bodies, specially our brains.

The specialty includes a total of 4 dives during which you will learn about:

Special deep diving equipment
Deep dive planning, buddy system procedures and buoyancy control
Management of air supply, how to deal with nitrogen narcosis
Safety considerations
If you have completed your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course,
the deep dive applies as credit for the PADI Deep Diver Specialty.
Also, the first dive of this PADI Specialty Diver course may credit as an Adventure Dive toward your Advanced Open Water Diver certification
– ask your instructor about earning credit.
