The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases: Knowledge Development, Pool training session and four open water dives in Padang Bai and Tulamben.
In this course, you pass through a complete circuit of underwater skills. You will also learn to use basic scuba equipment, control buoyancy, navigate underwater and all safety guidelines.

Day one

Theory and pool training

You will be joining the class-room session and course videos before beginning the pool training session.

Day two

Open water diving and knowledge review

You will practice some of the skills previously learned on day one, learn new ones and go for underwater exploration in either Padang Bai or Tulamben.

Day three – final day

Open water diving and final exam

We proceed with new skills and experiences in the second dive location.
Final written exam will also take place on this day.

The PADI Open Water course has a standard duration of three days split between different activities as part of the course curriculum:

Day one – Classroom session and pool training

No, it is not recommended to do the PADI Open Water Diver course in two days
There is a false perception circulating that the PADI Open Water Diver course can be completed successfully in two days. This is wrong.

Considering the curriculum, to be able to guarantee proper learning experience and to successfully become a PADI Open Water Diver, the course cannot be rolled in two days.
The open water dives are done in Padang Bai and Tulamben
For the PADI Open Water Diver course the standard dive locations are Padang Bai and Tulamben.

Compared to other dive locations in Bali, we have chosen these two locations because of the proper conditions for teaching as well as diversity for underwater exploration.
Yes, dive insurance is included
During the entire course we are covering each and every student with specially designed dive insurance which is including also decompression chamber among general potential accidents.

Combined with the dive insurance, we also provide general health insurance during the hotel and dive location car transfers as well as boat insurance.
