Diving in Sanur is the most accessible for any diver who is short on time but requires additional dives to complete a particular PADI course or training for the Open Water, Advanced Open Water, and other training programs. For divers who Don't have the time or stamina to drive to the north of Bali or over to Nusa Penida, the Sanur dive sites are ideal for quick easy dives. However if the divers are interested in beautiful coral reefs and diverse marine life, Sanur is not the best place. It is lacking of both and ideally used for dive training more than anything else.

Before heading to Sanur, ensure your diving equipment is in good condition. If you own your gear, inspect it thoroughly to ensure everything is functioning correctly. Pay close attention to your regulator, BCD (buoyancy control device), mask, fins, and dive computer. If you need to get your gear, most dive centers in Sanur provide rental equipment. However, it's always advisable to check with the dive center in advance to ensure they have the necessary gear available and to discuss any specific requirements you may have.
