Course Overview

Pre-Course e-Learning Study

Prior to starting the course, you will receive access to the PADI e-Learning material. It's your course on your time. You can study offline, or online using a computer or mobile phone. eLearning study time: 5-10 hours

The PADI Rescue Diver is a combination of classroom work, pool training and open water diving. Alongside your PADI Instructor you will be accompanied by a dive buddy who will play the role of the victim. Your buddy is generally a professional PADI Divemaster who will assist in elevating your experience as a PADI Rescue Diver.

The Emergency First Response is a mandatory requirement which is conducted generally before the rescue course.

During the 2 open water dives normally conducted in Padang Bai, specific rescue skills are practiced as previously conducted during the pool training.
