Itinerary

Batu Bolong is by far the highlight dive site of Komodo. Vibrant coral reefs, diverse marine life, and easy access from Labuan Bajo.

Many large species of fish love being out at this location. Napolean Wrasse, Bumphead Parrotfish, Barracuda, GTs, Dogtooth Tuna, Snappers, and various sharks are regular visitors of Batu Bolong. At the vertical crevices on the North East side, and North End, playful sharks can be seen playing in the down currents in these crevices.

Due to its location, Batu Bolong often experiences strong currents including down currents, and whirpool currents. Diving in Batu Bolong is dependent on time and tides.
