How to get to Padang Bai?

Padang Bai is easily reachable from either the south or the north-east coast of Bali. Generally a short 1 hour car trip, this allows travellers to either visit Padang Bai by themselves or to choose an operator such as Neptune Scuba Diving.

Once arriving in Padang Bai harbour, you will easily spot the many spider boats known as Jukung which will be used to visit the east bali snorkeling spots.

The day starts with the hotel transfer at approximately 7AM, meet and greet at the dive center for preparations, snorkeling gear check and day briefing before finally heading out to snorkeling Padang Bai. The trip to reach the harbour of Padang Bai takes approximately 45-60 minutes by car from Sanur where our dive center is located.

Once arriving in Padang Bai, we will be loading the boat, a traditional spider boat called Jukung and off we go for a 5-10 minutes ride to the nearest snorkeling spots.

In each snorkeling spot we will be swimming for approximately 45-60 minutes before returning back to the harbour where we will be enjoying lunch at a nearby local restaurant with delicious local food. Lunch is included in our snorkeling Padang Bai pricing.

The return back at the dive center is scheduled for approximately 2PM after 2 spots snorkeling.
