The best 3 snorkeling Padang Bai spots

Blue Lagoon

Padang Bai Blue Lagoon Snorkeling is the most popular activity in Padang Bai and primarily because It's a beautiful bay that can be visited both from the beach and by boat. The underwater life is beautiful and diverse with turtles easily seen on a daily basis. Snorkeling a little bit out of the bay will enable you to see the beautiful coral reef that Blue Lagoon is offering.

Tanjung Jepun

Locally known as Jepun and placed just on the left side of Blue Lagoon bay, this is the second most popular spot for snorkeling in Padang Bai. Jepun features a beautiful wall that starts from shallow which enables snorkelers to enjoy the diverse marine life.

White Sand Beach

Disregarded by many, White Sand Beach is one of the best spots for snorkeling in Padang Bai as it offers a beautiful beach view and beginner friendly snorkeling that is rich with hard and soft coral as well as turtles and other marine life. White Sand Beach is added to our list as It's a less visited snorkeling spot so during the peak season It's less crowded compared to Blue Lagoon.

Mangrove

Arguably that Mangrove is not located at Nusa Penida, instead at Nusa Lembongan, this snorkeling spot is in the top 3 together with SD Point and Mangrove, and for the right reasons. The coral reef at Mangrove is out of this world and most likely you have never seen a coral reef like this. It is hard to explain in words but once you see it, you will want to come back guaranteed. Compared to the other snorkeling spots, Mangrove sometimes displays strong currents which makes it unsafe but when the water conditions are normal, it is the chosen site for all snorkelers visiting Nusa Penida island.
